This partnership was pre-approved by CDC.

Subject matter experts at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia implemented and maintained Newcomer clinical decisions tools, developed training curriculum for health care professionals across the US, and participated in quality improvement initiatives to improve access to care for Newcomers.

Evaluate the contractor's quality CHOP's quality of work as well as their collaboration was excellent. They served as technical experts for clinical decision tools for various health systems across the US, offering practical solutions.

Evaluate the contractor's cost CHOP's cost were reasonable and comparable to other entities that collaborated on the Center of Excellence's work.

Describe any negative action taken during the duration of this contract (i.e., termination, pursuit of suspension, etc.): We had to unexpectedly suspend our contract on 06/30/2024 because CHOP could not fulfill the Workforce Certification data requirements per the MN Department of Human Rights. As a large institution based in Pennsylvania, it has been difficult to amend their reporting policy. We would appreciate a review of this policy, especially for entities outside Minnesota, working on national initiatives with federal funds.
