Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Bay West (consultant) will prepare a Phase I environmental site assessment update letter, prepare a Sampling and Analysis Plan, conduct a subsurface investigation and oversee the advancement of borings to assess the quality of soil vapor, groundwater, and soil across the site. The consultant will collect media samples and prepare a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment report based off the findings and field observations. The consultant will also complete a Hazardous Materials Survey of the existing building and generate a report based off the sampling results and field observations. All subcontractors will be procured using the Contractor and Subcontracting purchasing manual.
