MN Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS)
{Empty}
The purpose of this contract is to conduct the telephone survey phase of its Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (MN PRAMS). MN PRAMS is an ongoing, population-based surveillance system of women who have recently delivered a live born infant in Minnesota. PRAMS collects information from mothers about their attitudes, behaviors and experiences before, during and immediately after pregnancy. MDH used the PRAMS protocol developed by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) since May 2002. In order for MDH to fulfill our contract obligations with CDC, meet our established program goals in performing this work, and achieve the highest survey response rate possible to meet CDC established criteria, it is important that—in addition to mailing surveys, we are able to contact these mothers by telephone to complete their surveys.
